The Cisco certification program has experienced the major changes early in the year. Now, the specialists pursuing the CCNA credential no longer need to pass multiple exams to obtain it. Prior to the introduction of the new track, the associate-level certification pathway had several exams with separate credentials. By passing the related tests, they could earn various certificates, for example, CCNA Cloud, CCNA Industrial, CCNA Data Center, CCNA Collaboration, CCNA Wireless, CCNA Security, CCNA Service Provider, CCNA Routing and Switching, or CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate). In the new path, all these certifications have been retired. There will no longer be any specialization in the CCNA track. Instead, the professionals will have only one computer science engineer salary. If you have already obtained any of the old credentials, you don’t have to worry. Your badge remains active until it expires. Then, it will be transitioned to the equivalent in the newly introduced certification program.
