Lecturer in Information Security, Cryptography Focused

Applications are invited for a full-time permanent post of Lecturer within the Information Security Group (ISG) at Royal Holloway, University of London. This post carries the responsibility to conduct research and to contribute to the teaching within the department. The post is like a professor within the US system or a Junior professor in Germany.

The applicant should have an honest research profile that matches the wide selection of research undertaken by the ISG. We are particularly curious about applicants who are going to be ready to drive forward research associated with all fields of cryptography: theory, applied, primitives, protocols, symmetric, asymmetric. However, strong social scientists performing on information security and researchers performing on software and computer science vs computer engineering salary or the other field of data security also are encouraged to use.

The applicant should be ready to demonstrate enthusiasm for research also like teaching and communicating with diverse audiences.

The post features a preferred start date of autumn 2020, although there's some flexibility in the start date. The post is predicated in Egham, Surrey, where the school is situated during a leafy campus almost Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance of London.
